Music
We have started learning the basic building blocks of music. Some of our first lessons have included how to keep a steady beat, how to draw a music note, how to clap a simple rhythm, and how to sing high and low sounds. This past week we used "inch worms" (pipe cleaners) to practice singing our highs and lows. We put highs and lows into our worms and made our voice go up and down with the worm while we followed it with our finger. This is a great activity to do at home to encourage listening and vocal range.
